1989- 2011 The EDLOS, San Francisco CA: First tenor, arranger and composer with award winning a cappella male quartet, seen at Grand Ole Opry, Shoreline Amphitheater, Concord Pavilion, Great American Music Hall, Slim’s... performed with Ray Charles, Lou Rawls, Chicago, The Temptations, Crystal Gayle, Tower of Power, Leann Rimes, Foreigner, Harvey Mandel, “Weird” Al Yankovic, and many others. Performed at many festivals and concert settings, including Mendocino Music Festival, Strawberry Music Festival, Big Bear Festival. Featured in their own PBS TV show, the Lonesome Pines Special, filmed in Louisville KY. Only winners of all three top prizes at the Harmony Sweepstakes National A Cappella Competition.
The EDLOS have also given many master classes to students ranging in age from 10 to college, details on request.

ß 1981 Tenor soloist for the first annual Sing-It-Yourself Messiah, at the San Francisco Opera House.
ß 1982 Soloed with SF Ballet, in performance in honor of Pavlova; song written by Cole Porter.
ß 1986 Debut with San Francisco Symphony, in a new piece in Hebrew by Charles Wuorinen.
ß 1988 Three month tour of USA and Canada, soloist with Columbia Artists’ William Hall Chorale.
ß Oratorio works by Haydn, Handel, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Durufle, Fauré, Bach, Beethoven, Vivaldi and other composers performed with many San Francisco and national groups as tenor soloist.
ß Requiems by Mozart, Fauré, Verdi. Lieder recitals of pieces by Schubert, Wolf, Strauss, Barber, many others.
ß Learned Les Noces, by Stravinsky, in one week when the tenor was taken ill. Performed the role of Pluto in Orpheus in the Underworld by Offenbach from the pit, sightreading the score with one half hour's notice, for the Lamplighter Theater Company of SF.
ß Specialist in the works of Benjamin Britten, have sung Songs from the Chinese, War Requiem, Ceremony of Carols, and others.

Teaching Mr. Morris has taught privately for over 35 years, and many of his students have gone onto higher education in music and/or high profile performance venues; names and references available by request. He has also taught music theory, and taken many classes in theory and composition. Mr. Morris was hired to the faculty of Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, CA, in the spring semester of 2003, where he presently teaches voice, musicianship, beginning voice, computer music applications, and has also taught opera workshop.
Awards Full Scholarship at the SF Conservatory of Music, all 4 years. Winner of Bank of America Music Scholarship. Winner of East Bay Music Scholarship. Two Command Performances, California State High School NATS Solo Competition, 1976 and 1977. Won Best Original Arrangement Award, Harmony Sweepstakes National Competition, 1989. Won West Bay Music Scholarship.
Interests Avid instrumentalist, arranger and composer, bicycling, tennis, carpentry, horticulture, computers, ~ own two woks and know how to use 'em! Member of ASCAP. Fluent in Spanish, studied at least 3 years each in Italian, French and German.
Mr. Morris has sung in Italian, French, German, Spanish, Hebrew, Latin, Welsh, Gaelic, Xhosa, Portuguese, Ladino, Yiddish, Russian, Czech, and Hungarian. Mr. Morris, thus far, has sung on over a dozen recordings, including 9 recordings with the EDLOS.
In addition, Mr. Morris released his first album on Touch Guitar called Pure Beauty in 2009,
